The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for the maintenance of the Company's facilities, systems and equipment. Key responsibilities include facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, maintenance service requests, continuous improvement of equipment and facilities, facility safety systems, monitoring the work of outside contractors, grounds work and assisting with other tasks when needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES QUALITY OF MAINTENANCE WORK Accurately diagnoses and solves problems with cost effective, long-term solutions Displays a strong, consistent effort in completing their work Coordinates and monitors the quality of maintenance work being performed by outside contractors MAINTENANCE CUSTOMER SERVICE Completes maintenance service requests in a timely manner Quickly and correctly identiﬁes the issue or problem behind the service request Recommends and implements the most efficient solution to address the maintenance issue GENERAL MAINTENANCE Performs maintenance work on the facility, including performing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other related tasks Performs maintenance work on the Company's equipment and systems Assists with groundwork and other tasks, when required Establishes and maintains a preventative maintenance program for facilities and equipment Identifies changes in maintenance procedures to proactively address recurring issues, and assists with the implementation of process improvements SAFETY AND ORGANIZATION Maintains building safety systems, ensuring compliance with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines Keeps accurate, detailed and timely maintenance records for all activities Assists in keeping the Company's facilities safe, clean and organized CORE VALUES INTEGRITY Exhibits honesty and integrity Maintains appropriate personal behavior Able to admit mistakes and learn from them TRUST Honors commitments Maintains regular attendance Requires minimal supervision EXCELLENCE Demonstrates sound and accurate judgement Demonstrates a clear understanding of the company's mission statement and values Accepts and uses feedback to improve performance RESPECT Respects the decisions of co-workers within the organization Uses appropriate speech, language and tones with others Does NOT gossip or involve themselves in the personal lives of co-workers TEAMWORK Works cooperatively in group/team environments Proactively offers assistance and support to co-workers Places the importance of team achievement above individual achievement QualificationsREQUIREMENTS Educational and experience requirements include: Broad knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing and various equipment Relevant experience in a maintenance role Track record of quality work Strong communication skills to interact with team Proven ability to recommend process or efficiency improvements Demonstrated ability provide good internal customer service This job description identifies the major responsibilities of this position.
