Convenience Store Cashier/Stocker

POSITION:                  Cashier/Stocker

REPORTS TO:            Ba’ja Gas Manager  

POSITION STATUS:    FULL TIME

QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:

• Provide exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the We-Ko-Pa Way: Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you and Goodbye.
• Serve customers and receive cash or credit in payment for goods purchased. 
• Responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of the cash register.
• Accurate in receiving money and giving change to customers.
• Responsible for stocking and keeping the store clean.
• Must be willing to work varied shifts, holidays, and/or weekends.
• Cash variances are to be kept to an absolute minimum.
• Must be knowledgeable of cash reporting techniques.
• Must be able to fill propane tanks.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
• Must pass a basic math test.
• Must have a current AZ driver’s license.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and push or pull 100 pounds.
• Must be 21 or older.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Minimum 6 months of cash handling experience required.
3. Knowledge of basic arithmetic is required.
