Job Description

 

On-Site Staff Physical TherapistSpectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent Potential opportunity for a Physical Therapist.

Location: Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center in Fort Meade, Virginia Schedule: Full-time/Part-Time — Monday–Friday

Requirements:

  • Education: Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy
  • Preferred - Sports Medicine 
  • License: Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the preceding three (3) years
  • Certifications: Must have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members
  • Technical Skills: Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in basic word processing, data entry, and automated records

  • Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities
  • Restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function, wellness, fitness, and quality of life as it relates to neuromusculoskeletal health
  • Prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries
  • Provide orthopedic clinical care for ages 15–64, including active-duty service members, retirees, and their family members
