Store Manager - Floater (travel required)

Hours: Full Time, averaging 45 hours/week

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-3pm, but flexibility is required since this position helps cover shifts/PTO. Evening and weekend availability are required. Days and times may vary; including weekends, evenings, and some holidays

The Store Manager - Floater position is perfect for someone who loves leading a team, thrives on the unexpected, enjoys a little bit of sight-seeing, and definitely doesn’t like being bored. You’ll be all about growing multiple teams across a defined area, building our brand, leading with energy, and making sure the stores are firing on all cylinders.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage multiple Stinker locations within a designated area, traveling between stores to fill support needs.
• Lead with purpose: As a Stinkin' Awesome People Leader, you’ll go beyond managing—you’ll inspire, train, mentor, and find solutions, all while keeping things on track.
• From managing labor and driving sales to handling daily finances, community events, and new projects, you’ll balance routine tasks with exciting promotions and be an operational wizard.
• Keep a close eye on labor costs, inventory, waste, sales, and market trends. You'll make sure everything adds up through strategy and hard work (no magic required).
• Stay connected with the District Manager, leadership team, and Skunk Den support team. Know when to use your resources (we’ll provide them!) and solve problems quickly.
• Ensure product promotions are executed perfectly—adhere to pricing policies, display requirements, and vendor guidelines while keeping aligned with the brand.

What You’ll Need

• Solution focused thinking- You get 5 minutes to complain, and then we solve problems and kick tail!
• Ability to learn new concepts and stay organized, maintaining a high level of attention to detail while multitasking (there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!).
• A proven history of asset, operational, and personnel management, as well as team development.
• Able to sniff out scent-sational talent- A proven history of building a team through recruitment, screening, interviewing, and selection.
• Familiar with the smell of success, so demonstrating experience in aiding the development of business strategies, cultures, and executing company business.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years of age. (We don’t make the rules… or law)
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required, as well as a passion for sightseeing- there will be travel between multiple Stinker locations!
• Must consent to and pass a background check.
• Minimum HS Diploma or GED with two years of prior retail store management experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience within a leadership role (shift lead, asst. manager, manager.)
• You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete, but you do need to be able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 50 lbs., and work from floor to eye level.
• Able to work in a cooler at an average temperature of 32 degrees (hey, at least it’s not Antarctica).
