Amavida is recruiting for a hospitality focused Food Runner to join our culinary team! This role is responsible for assisting in all areas of meal service and clean up. The food runner/server assistant will deliver food to the correct table and to the correct guest in a professional manner following established procedures. They must be knowledgeable in all menus and ingredients.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Food Runner:

Serve meals to residents promptly and in a friendly and courteous manner using proper serving etiquette.
Deliver meals to residents’ rooms as needed.
Clear tables and collect dishes and kitchen utensils during mealtime.
Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
Answer pertinent questions about menu items.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
Experience in food service work preferred
Experience in working with seniors preferred

Pay Rate: Starting at $16.00/hour
