SDS Coder (Full-time)

Healthcare Coding and Consulting Services (HCCS) is currently hiring an experienced and certified Full-Time Outpatient Facility Surgery (SDS) Coder for immediate openings.

These remote positions are ideal for coders seeking long-term, stable opportunities with a company that values accuracy, professionalism, and career growth.

As an SDS coder with HCCS, you’ll be responsible for accurately coding same-day surgery encounters, mastering client systems, and consistently meeting productivity and quality standards. We assign coders to chart types and facilities that align with their experience, ensuring you're supported and set up for success.

Position Requirements:

• AHIMA/ AAPC certification is required (CCA and CPC-A not accepted or considered) 

• Minimum 3 years of CPT and/or ICD-10-PCS acute care hospital coding experience

• At least 6 months of recent SDS facility coding experience

• Ability to maintain minimum standards of productivity and accuracy
