Job DetailsJob Location: FLA-Ft Myers Thrift CSRC - Ft Myers, FL 33919Salary Range: $14.25 HourlyJob Category: StoreSchedule/Hours: 40 This position is responsible for:   Assists in picking-up donations by riding in a Salvation Army truck and lifting, carrying, and /or hauling donations into the truck and unloading the same at the warehouse/store.   Key Responsibilities:   Rides in a Salvation Army truck on a scheduled route in order to pick-up donated items; assists in navigating driver to destinations by reading a map and/or hand- written directions.   Lifts, carries, and/or hauls donations into truck; packs items in truck in a manner that maximizes use of space, protects items from damage, and ensures safety.   Maintains good relationship with donors to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.     Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:   Work requires riding in a vehicle daily with exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.   Employee Benefits   Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay Life Insurance Retirement Plans and more! WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOUEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: No formal education required   Six months experience lifting and hauling heavy items such as appliances and furniture.
