Our Opportunity

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the development and product teams to ensure delivery of reliable, efficient, and user-friendly software solutions that meet client needs. You will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, identifying and resolving defects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our applications and QA processes. This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on product quality and user experience while working in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

You Will
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to ensure clear understanding of acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, verifying fixes and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Contribute to the development of new features and product enhancements through active testing and feedback.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated end-to-end test scripts using Playwright.
  • Leverage GitHub Copilot in agent mode alongside the Playwright MCP server to efficiently generate end-to-end tests.
  • Use GitHub Copilot in agent mode to assist in creating, maintaining, and executing performance test plans using Locust to evaluate system performance, scalability, and stability under load.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions to ensure consistent and reliable test execution across builds and deployments.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverables.
  • Maintain and enhance QA documentation, processes, and testing frameworks.
  • Support regression and release testing to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Stay up to date with QA tools, automation frameworks, AI tools, and testing best practices.



Requirements

To Be Successful in The Role You Will Need
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC processes.
  • Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Good programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., Locust, or JMeter).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with AI tools to streamline test script generation and enhance overall testing efficiency.
  • Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
