Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Fort Pierce, FL
Salary: $88,000–$95,000 per year + full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Patient Volume: Approximately 1–2 patients per hour
Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
About the Role
We are seeking a Physical Therapist in Fort Pierce, FL for a full-time outpatient orthopedic position.
You will work with patients recovering from injuries, surgery, pain, mobility limitations, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your role is to identify what is limiting function, develop an appropriate treatment plan, and guide patients toward better strength, movement, and independence.
With approximately one to two patients scheduled per hour, the position allows time for focused treatment, reassessment, and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Complete initial physical therapy evaluations and follow-up assessments
- Assess strength, mobility, range of motion, balance, and functional movement
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and orthopedic rehabilitation
- Track patient progress and make treatment adjustments when appropriate
- Educate patients on home exercises, safe movement, and activity progression
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Support patients through discharge planning and return to daily activities
- Current Florida Physical Therapist license
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT)
- Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
- Experience treating orthopedic or musculoskeletal conditions
- Ability to manage evaluations, treatments, and documentation independently
