Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role includes loading and unloading goods, verifying inventory accuracy, and maintaining organized warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Driving & Delivery
- Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks and straight trucksÂ
- Follow assigned delivery routes, traffic laws, and safety regulations at all timesÂ
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customersÂ
- Verify delivery accuracy, obtain signatures, and report any discrepanciesÂ
Loading & Unloading
- Load and unload products using safe lifting and handling techniquesÂ
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quantity and quality accuracyÂ
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transportÂ
Vehicle Maintenance
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (pre/post-trip)Â
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure safe operating conditionÂ
- Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptlyÂ
Warehouse Operations Support
- Assist with organizing, storing, and managing inventoryÂ
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (as needed)Â
- Support inventory counts, audits, and quality control processesÂ
- Handle returns, including defective or incorrect merchandiseÂ
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inventory records, and documentationÂ
- Follow all company safety protocols and operational proceduresÂ
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to safety and detailÂ
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethicÂ
- Good communication and customer service skillsÂ
- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamÂ
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory processesÂ
Work Environment
- Fast-paced warehouse and delivery settingÂ
- Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and equipment operation requiredÂ
- Combination of driving and warehouse duties throughout the dayÂ
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalentÂ
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Ability to safely operate box trucks and straight trucksÂ
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferredÂ
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding workÂ
- Experience in warehouse, delivery, or logistics environments preferredÂ
