Job DetailsJob Location: Fort Pierre - FORT PIERRE, SD 57532Job Category: KubotaPosition Summary: This is a working foreman role interacting directly with customers through the entire service process including selling and closing repair orders and delivery/product set-up. This position will be actively involved in Kubota equipment product assembly, providing service on equipment, and supervising other Kubota technicians. Essential Duties & Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned. Service Advising Responsible for writing up repair tickets, selling customer on needed repairs, and finalizing tickets for payment Coordinating with designated staff for warranty work Assigning work to appropriate technicians Technician Duties This role as a working foreman may involve working on equipment, as needed, providing diagnosis and repairs Product Assembly Assembling assigned Kubota equipment properly, timely, safely, and efficiently using available instructional materials and verbal training/coaching from experienced Kubota staff Inspect the products and parts for any deficiencies and makes sure that all are corrected before installing and completing the assembly Performs inspection to assure equipment meets quality standards, systems work correctly, the equipment does not leak, and assure all parts are installed correctly. Delivery and Customer Set-Up Safely and in a timely manner transport equipment to customer and/or back to the store location When delivering to customers, conduct equipment walk-around with the customer answering any questions about the equipment delivered Pick-up and deliver Sales Department transfer units; this could include out-of-state transport Pick-up and deliver equipment for service and repair Ensure delivery vehicles and trailers are clean and in proper working order Assist in the unloading/loading of equipment at the store, when available Equipment Yard Maintenance Maintain the front and rear lots of the store, to always be clean and organized; may involve delegation and supervision of Kubota techs Complete assigned training, as required, for product knowledge, transportation safety, and per company policies and procedures. General Expectations Devote himself/herself to ensuring satisfaction to customers, positively representing the Kubota and Floyd’s brand Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening. Attend company meetings, as required Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects Maintain regular and thorough communication with the assigned team Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively Understand the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes in products and services Know and understand the federal, state, and local requirements which govern the company’s business Follow lawful directions from supervisors Understand and follow work rules and procedures Participate in performance management Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required QualificationsQualifications Specialized CDL is required, prefer with air brake endorsement but not mandatory Ability to operate hand tools and power tools for light assembly of equipment Ability to multi-task between job role responsibilities to meet customer needs Other Must pass Pre-Employment Drug Test Must have a clean Driving Record, with current Montana License (or able to get one) Experience transporting equipment a plus Experience operating equipment a plus. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Professional personal appearance. Excellent communication skills. Ability to meet company's production and quality standards. Physical Requirements This position requires you to move throughout the company facility for most of the shift, stand, walk bending, twisting and/or stooping, and kneeling or squatting on a regular basis, and frequently seated during deliveries. Lifting over 50lbs on an irregular basis. This position also could involve climbing stairs, reaching and/or lifting overhead on a regular basis. On a regular basis this position involves repetitive hand/finger movement, grasping/grabbing with hands, and pushing & pulling motions. This position will involve driving during varies seasonal weather conditions, both in the daylight and early morning/evening hours are possible.
