Our Med Surg Service Line offers a dynamic environment where you’ll gain experience across 8 specialty units, caring for patients with a wide range of diagnoses and needs. These units support patients preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions, giving you the opportunity to build a strong foundation in diverse clinical skills.While you’ll have a home unit, we believe in cross-training to broaden your expertise and confidence in caring for patients with varying conditions, comorbidities, and procedures. Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or equivalent experience with licensure).
Licensure: Current LPN license in the state of practice; must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) – required within 30 days of hire.
Additional certifications may be required based on unit (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., IV Certification within 1 year).
