Essential Functions

· Operate yard truck in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.

· Safely and efficiently move trailers between buildings and in/out doors.

· Occasionally make local runs with 26’ box truck.

· Operate forklift as needed.

· Accurately complete required documentation including manifesting as needed.

· Communicate any safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions to supervision.

· Follow all company safety policies, procedures, DOT, and OSHA regulations.

· Participate in training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

· Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.


Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred.

CDL Class A required

1-year commercial driving experience preferred.


Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing the following

· Pre-employment drug screening

· DOT Physical 

· Criminal background check

· Verification of employment eligibility (Form I-9)

Failure to meet these requirements may result in withdrawal of job offer or termination of employment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

· Stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).

· Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects and tools.

· Reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.

· Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly.

· Perform repetitive motions involving hands and arms.

Work Environment

· Exposure to moving mechanical parts and manufacturing equipment.

· Exposure to temperature variations depending on season.

Attendance & Scheduling

Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Overtime, weekend work, or shift adjustments may be required based on production needs.
