Overview:Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Bed Numbers: 18Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Nurse to Patient Ratio: 6:1
Patient Population: Hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis and cardiac patients
that do not require cardiac drips; the floor also specializes in offering nursing
care for patients undergoing specific radiation treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process.
Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients.
Evaluate care provided by other direct caregivers.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
Perform duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probationary period. Must have ACLS and BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire.
