Job Summary
This position works with various types of machinery to mix material, change molds, and perform setups to ensure quality product is being manufactured for our customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Loads and unloads materials as assigned.
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
- Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
- Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Must follow safety protocols to include wearing proper PPE at all times in designated area.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean working environment.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 6 months experience in plastics or molding manufacturing.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers and fractions.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be a team player and work well with others.
Essential Job Function
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The employee is required to use their hands to pull, push, handle, or feel of the product being produced.聽 They must also have the ability to stoop, kneel or crouch.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Employee will stand 95% of the workday.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and or hazardous chemicals.聽 The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
