Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Full-Time, Part-Time & Baylor Positions Available

 

 

Fort Walton Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. We are currently hiring for full-time, part-time, and Baylor CNA positions, with a focus on the following shifts:

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Day Shift)

  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Evening Shift)

Responsibilities of a CNA:

Under the supervision and guidance of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN), the CNA is responsible for assisting with direct resident care within the scope of their practice as well as other teamwork on the unit which supports the resident environment. The CNA assists staff to ensure quality resident care and assists the healthcare team to provide and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents. Work will include components of direct care, nutrition, observation, documentation, transportation of residents and supplies, hygiene, and general maintenance of the resident's environment. 

 

Qualifications for a CNA:

  • Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant Program required
  • Clear and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in the state of practice required.

Qualifications

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, or related experience and / or training. * Successful completion of State-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTShift work may be required. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, lift and or transfer residents weighing between 100 and 250 pounds, see, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear. Employee is occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. May be required to work beyond their regular scheduled shift. In compliance with applicable law, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

OTHER REQUIREMENTSParticipates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of resident's protected health information. Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law.
