Job Description
Join the Integrated Sensing and Flight Solutions team as a Test Technician III. In this technical role, you will serve as the primary technician in the operational testing and evaluation of complex electronic subassemblies, assemblies, and integrated systems. You will leverage your expertise in electronic, mechanical, and RF disciplines to ensure the highest quality of deliverables for critical defense programs. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex failures, optimizing test processes, and executing technical plans developed by engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Testing: Test sophisticated electronic circuits and systems, including digital/analog circuitry, encoders, servo, and RF systems.
- Technical Analysis: Utilize a comprehensive suite of test equipment—including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF power meters—to analyze electrical circuits and validate performance.
- Diagnostic Leadership: Perform expert-level troubleshooting to diagnose deficiencies down to the component level. Recommend rework strategies to ensure product success.
- Quality Assurance: Validate deliverable products against specifications and data sheets, ensuring 100% compliance with program requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Author detailed product test data and failure/acceptance reports, providing actionable insights into system performance.
- Engineering Collaboration: Partner with engineers to execute complex test plans and refine test processes across a wide array of products throughout various stages of its lifecycle.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Education/Experience: High School Diploma with 2+ years of advanced electronic troubleshooting experience, or a Trade School Certification/Associate Degree.
- Technical Proficiency: Thorough understanding of electrical schematics, change orders, and complex test procedures.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Confidently troubleshoot, align, and/or adjust discrete components within electronic circuitry using schematics and other controlled drawings.
- Physical/Legal: Ability to lift up to 45lbs; US Citizenship is required to be eligible for a Secret level security clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in RF, analog, and digital manual troubleshooting.
- Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment utilizing both manual and automated test equipment (ATE).
- Familiar with LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar automated test software frameworks.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $46898 - $75035

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
