Job Summary ā Cake Decorator
- Experienced cake decorator with full range of skills from basic cake design to custom cakes and tiered cakesĀ
- Answer phone and take custom orders Ā
- Fill customer orders as requested, provided exceptional customer serviceĀ
- Serves the customer in a friendly mannerĀ
- Job required high volume of work during holiday seasonsĀ
- Cleaning equipment and making sure floor is clean and safe
- Must work well with others and be able to work with customers.
- Other assignments as directed by supervisor
Physical Demands:
- Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty without restrictionsĀ
- Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of timeĀ
- Work in hot temperature environmentĀ
- Work safely around ovensĀ
- Lift, push, and/or pull bakery ingredients/items up to 50 poundsĀ
- Safe in every action taken; lifting only in the appropriate mannerĀ
- Ability to wear company-provided uniform, and maintain a clean and groomed appearance.
Skills Requirements:
Ā
Friendly personality and ācustomer serviceā mentality.Ā
Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation.Ā
Good verbal and written communications skills in English with reasonable proficiencyĀ
Good team player; able to work with fellow associates to achieve goalsĀ
Possess some baking experience in a retail or commercial establishmentĀ
Rolled fondant work a plus
Work assigned schedule Ā
Reliable, good work ethic, high integrity, and substance abuse freeĀ
Ā
Must be 18 years of age
