Top Responsibilities
Process and manage internal and external referrals
Provide phone coverage and respond to patient inquiries
Deliver high-quality customer service to patients and families
Maintain a full and accurate clinic schedule
Respond to patient inquiries via telephone and email, determining appropriate resolution methods in alignment with patient needs and organizational guidelines
Coordinate issue resolution with internal departments as needed
Collect and document patient demographic and billing information for scheduling and database entry

QualificationsÂ
High School Diploma or GED required; no prior experience necessary
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding preferred
Ability to type at least 30 words per minute
Working knowledge of computers and basic office technology
