We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, skilled in chairside support, and able to maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

Chairside Assistance

  • Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals)
  • Hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needs
  • Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment

Patient Care & Communication

  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment
  • Review medical histories and update patient records
  • Provide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education

Sterilization & Infection Control

  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
  • Organize and maintain dental supplies and instruments
  • Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness between appointments

Administrative Support (as needed)

  • Schedule appointments and confirm visits
  • Assist with billing, insurance processing, or charting
  • Maintain accurate treatment documentation

Qualifications

  • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) (Required) or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) preferred
  • Radiology License (Required)
  • Knowledge of Dentrix (Preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods

Monday thru Friday
7:45am - 5:00pm
