More Than Cleaning

At Byron, housekeeping is about more than keeping spaces clean.

Our residents call Byron home, and Housekeeping Aides play an important role in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment where residents can live with dignity and pride.

Every clean room, made bed, and friendly interaction helps improve a resident's quality of life.


What You'll Do

  • Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Respect resident privacy by knocking and announcing yourself before entering
  • Make beds and prepare rooms for incoming residents
  • Dust furniture, equipment, and common areas
  • Clean windows, walls, doors, handrails, and surfaces
  • Empty waste and transport trash safely
  • Follow infection prevention and safety procedures
  • Report maintenance and safety concerns
  • Assist during emergency preparedness activities as assigned
  • Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment throughout the community

Most importantly, you'll help residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home.


Job Type

Full time available

Every other weekend and rotating holidays required


Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 1 year experience preferred
