Maintenance Technician

Description

QuikCut, LLC is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our location in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As a Maintenance Technician at QuikCut, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the equipment our production teams rely on every day. From preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, you'll help minimize downtime and keep our manufacturing operation moving.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other equipment issues.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to identify potential problems before they become critical.
• Manage and maintain MaintainX software for tracking maintenance activities, scheduling preventative maintenance, and managing parts inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
• Work closely with the Production team to coordinate maintenance activities while minimizing disruption to manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Preventative maintenance and equipment inspection experience.
• Experience with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System); MaintainX experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining high-quality work.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and work in various positions while performing maintenance tasks.
