We are seeking a full-time Parts Counterperson for our location in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Parts Counterperson Requirements

• One year of experience related to the sales of automotive parts and services
• Basic understanding of diesel parts and equipment
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and parts databases
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability to diagnose customer issues and identify parts needed
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to stand and be physically active during your shift
• Physical ability to frequently life and move up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver's license

Parts Counterperson Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and greet in person customers
• Identify parts needed based on customer descriptions and equipment details
• Use computer databases and online resources to look up part numbers, pricing information and availability
• Maintain lost sales tracking
• Process customer orders
• Provide the same support to Service Technicians and Outside Sales Associates
• Assist in regular cycle counts
• Process core returns and exchanges
