Work Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., overtime as required and hours may need to flex at times.
Key Goals:
- Support operations and achieve throughput objectives via containment of suspect and non-conforming products.
- Support Quality Department to achieve quality and environmental objectives and goals.
Job Description:
- Learn all aspects of non-conformance area activities and perform duties on a regular basis.
- Perform in-process quality audits of production units as they are being built on both Mainline & Large Commercial production lines.
- Perform sort/containment inspection activities.
- Complete first article/receiving inspection activities.
- Support QA team members in department related activities to include continuous improvement projects, supplier quality projects, audits, vacations, (etc.).
- Internal audits for ISO 9001 & 14001.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or subsystems.
- Knowledge and experience using ERP/MES systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure/test products with calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Operate electronic inspection equipment or software.
- Microsoft Software experience to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Additional Skills/Knowledge Preferred:
- Knowledge of WaterFurnace products.
- Experience using Epicor Systems
- Experience in Siemens TeamCenter
- Six Sigma Green Belt or better certified.
- 1 year Quality Inspection experience.
