Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Services in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic construction location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this role, you will support access activity, respond to site needs, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an active construction location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the worksite, perimeter, entry points, staging areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, logging visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and reporting concerns involving restricted areas or after-hours activity.
• Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, workers, and visitors regarding post orders, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
