Job Description

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Response in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working independently in a construction-focused environment with limited on-site facilities. Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of construction areas, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
