What this job involves āĀ Ā
Ā Ā
Operates, inspects, andĀ maintainsĀ all HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain most efficient operating results and life expectancy. Assures that equipment is beingĀ maintainedĀ in an energy efficient, safe manner and down time is reduced to a minimum by anticipation of necessary repairs keeping records of past operating experiences. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc. āÆStrong focus on operating,Ā maintaining,Ā troubleshootingĀ and repairingĀ facility equipment on all HVAC/R systems.Ā Individuals are expectedĀ toĀ demonstrateĀ technicalĀ expertiseĀ in HVAC and refrigeration and be multi skilled in electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Material HandlingĀ EquipmentĀ and othersĀ in order toĀ successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments.Ā Ā

What is your day to day?Ā āÆāÆĀ Ā
Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical,Ā electricalĀ and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.āÆĀ Ā
Maintain,Ā operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds, and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings.āÆĀ Ā
Study and become familiar with theĀ various itemsĀ of equipment, and the methodsĀ requiredĀ to use them properly, that areĀ requiredĀ in everyday activities.āÆĀ Ā
Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts,Ā reporting onĀ as found conditionsĀ impactingĀ satisfactory client occupancy and operations.āÆĀ Ā
Submit P-card Receipts DailyāÆĀ Ā
Update work order status in real timeāÆĀ Ā
Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.āÆĀ Ā
Candidate mustĀ possessĀ and maintain a valid state driverās licenseāÆĀ Ā
Must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties asĀ requiredĀ Ā
Ā
Required Qualifications:Ā Ā
Universal CFC recovery certification (or withinĀ 90 daysĀ of employment)āÆĀ Ā
Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance.āÆ Knowledge of overall system design and applications.āÆĀ Ā
Experience troubleshooting andĀ maintainingĀ commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.Ā

Preferred Qualifications:Ā Ā
ExperienceĀ utilizingĀ CMMS (Work Order) systemsĀ
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and ExcelāÆĀ Ā
Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems,āÆrefrigerationāÆand HVACāÆĀ
