As a Qualified Medication Aide, you'll play an important role in helping residents remain safe, healthy, comfortable, and engaged in daily life.

What You'll Do

Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will help residents maintain the highest possible quality of life while ensuring medications are administered safely and accurately.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
  • Observing residents and reporting concerns or changes in condition
  • Documenting medication administration and resident responses accurately
  • Identifying and reporting medication errors or concerns
  • Supporting resident care and comfort throughout the shift
  • Collaborating with nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and other team members
  • Maintaining resident confidentiality and privacy
  • Following safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting a positive, respectful, resident-focused environment

Most importantly, you'll help ensure residents receive the care, dignity, and attention they deserve every day.


Job Type

Full time and part time available

1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts available

Every other weekend and rotating holidays required

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent. Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant with current Indiana License.
  • Must be a licensed Certified Medication Aide having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examination(s) in accordance with laws of this State.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with long-term care residents
