We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) MV-75, part of the US Army鈥檚 Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

Quality Operations

Quality engineering in manufacturing planning聽proactively ensures product excellence by integrating quality standards, testing protocols, and risk mitigation early in the development lifecycle. They define specifications, create control plans, and optimize processes to reduce defects, manage supplier quality, and meet regulatory requirements, preventing costly issues before production begins.

Bring your experience and data driven thinking, collaborative spirit, and innovative ideas to help us ensure product safety and reliability, customer safety and satisfaction, and compliance to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

The Quality Engineerperforms multi-faceted Quality department and program QE assignments across military and commercial programs, requiring interactions with Supplier Quality Assurance, enterprise factories and facilities, and various engineering and other departments.

The Quality Engineerwill support cross functional teams in preventive, corrective, and continuous improvement projects that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

What you鈥檒l be doing as a Quality Engineer:

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform Quality Management System, AS9100 System auditing, manufacturing process reviews, root cause and corrective action analysis, process and procedure development and revisions, data analysis and metrics reporting, containing quality issues from becoming quality escapes, communicating highly technical quality issues with program engineering, management, and regulatory and customer representatives. 聽聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Serve as the primary Quality point of contact for actions to resolve quality issues with suppliers, manufacturing centers, and assembly centers for assigned programs.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead Quality Engineering assignments requiring independent evaluation in applying standard techniques and collaborate with cross-functional teams on corrective actions and continuous improvement to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Initiates and manage teams in the development of new and revision of existing policies and procedures, coordinate quality and process engineering teams for audits, and interface with Supplier Quality Assurance to resolve supplier issues.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Train junior quality engineers, to include with Lean Six Sigma processes and tools for root cause corrective in response to quality or compliance issues, and support the Quality Culture and Compliance team in planning and executing compliance activities.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) for quality nonconformances for disposition activities, assist with material testing and inspection standards development, and contribute to Contract Data Requirements Lists reviews and deliveries.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, exhibiting exemplary interpersonal skills with all interfacing functions.



Skills You Bring To this Role:

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor's Degree with a major in Engineering or an Engineering-related field.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 At least 5+ years of quality engineering experience in the aerospace, manufacturing, and/or automotive industry.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems: standards (AS9100 and AS9110)

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lean Six Sigma principles knowledge and experience required including Root Cause Corrective Action skills coupled with strong data oriented, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills.聽 Prefer Lean Six Sigma Certifications. 聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships within Bell and with customers and regulatory agencies to confidently communicate complex technical issues completely and concisely.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 We are seeking analytical and innovative problem solvers with a passion for product and customer safety and for nurturing a culture of quality and compliance.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Software system knowledge and skills (MS Word, Power Point, Excel, CAMs/PEO, MES, Power BI, SAP, Enovia/3DX).聽聽
