We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals with a heart to serve to join the Food & Beverage Team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains a positive attitude, and enjoys serving and working alongside others. The Food & Beverage Support role assists with all Gateway Food & Beverage operations across campuses and events. This includes supporting food preparation and service, maintaining organized and sanitary environments, assisting with event execution, supporting volunteers, and delivering exceptional guest service in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support front and back of house Food & Beverage operations across services and events
  • Assist with food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and quality control guidelines
  • Restock supplies and assist with inventory organization and tracking
  • Utilize scheduling software, Slack, and email to communicate effectively and stay aligned with team expectations
  • Support volunteer teams with clear communication and encouragement
  • Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy and excellence
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance in alignment with dress code guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Strong guest service and communication skills
  • Comfortable using digital tools and team communication platforms
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and special events
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain a Food Handler’s Certificate, provided by Gateway Food & Beverage

This is a part-time position, approximately 10 to 25 hours per week, based on campus and event needs.
