Position Overview: As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment requests are processed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies. This role supports dealership operations by maintaining strong vendor relationships, safeguarding company resources through disciplined payment practices, and ensuring complete and accurate accounts payable records.

Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing – Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately andtimelywhile ensuring proper approvals and supporting documentation
• Payment Administration – Prepare and process payments through various methods whilemaintainingcompliance with payment schedules and company controls
• Vendor Support – Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve discrepancies, andmaintainpositive vendor relationships
• Reconciliation & Research – Reconcile vendor statements, investigate outstanding items, and resolve payment or invoice discrepancies
• Expense Management – Review and process employee expense reimbursementsin accordance withcompany policies
• Internal Controls & Compliance – Follow established approval processes,maintainsegregation of duties, and support fraud prevention and audit readiness

Qualifications:

• Associate's orBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred
• Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger coding
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
