Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full-time opening for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, with the Hospitalist team.Ā  This is your opportunity to practice at the top of your license, working with some of the most experienced medical teams in the region.Ā Ā  Ā 

Position Details:

  • Full time; 7am-7pm 7 on 7 offĀ 
  • Evaluating and managing care of patients.
  • Provide overnight coverage and clinal support in a high volume fast paced environment.Ā 
  • Competitive Salary, plus comprehensive benefits package including CME Malpractice and 401K

Requirements Needed to Apply:

  • Active Texas license
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification
  • Degree in NP studies from an approved NP program
  • Interest and experience as a critical care NP are highly encouraged to apply


Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

Ā The Nurse Practitioner (ā€œNPā€) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.

Ā Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.

Ā 

The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

Ā The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only
