The Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) is the Premier Vertical Lift military program in the world. Bell's FLRAA aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sunsetting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Army's assault capabilities.聽 The FLRAA program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army鈥檚 tactical advantage in future conflicts. The Bell FLRAA team seeks the top engineering talents from around the industry to design, develop, and deliver the world鈥檚 next-generation military aircraft.

聽These positions are onsite in Fort Worth, TX.

Core Avionics Integrated Product Team (IPT), Aircraft SysML and Interface Modeling Engineer

These Aerospace Data Modeling and Architecture Engineers are responsible for design, modeling and integrating the data architecture in MBSE models in Cameo for the FLRAA aircraft program - onboard systems.聽

In this role you will be taking data types and putting them into CAMEO Models.聽 Create the Data Architecture for the FLRAA Platform

In addition, you will be responsible to validate and verify system data designs and data flow throughout the digital backbone and connected aircraft systems.

What you鈥檒l be doing as an聽Aircraft SysML and Interface Modeling Engineer:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 SysML Modeling in MagicDraw/Cameo.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Developing and creating Aircraft Network and compute Configurations

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Creating the Data Architecture for the FLRAA Platform

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Working with program IPTs and Suppliers to iterate on data

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Generate system functional requirements from stakeholder expectation.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop architecture models and allocate requirements to hardware/software components.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Validate and verify system data paths.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Troubleshoot and resolve system integration/verification issues.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinate with Internal and External IPTs, suppliers, and peers to generate and execute projects/design plans and reviews.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage and coordinate issues, problem reports and change requests to closure.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinate design changes and deliveries with Safety, Security and Certification organizations.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure timely delivery of systems data, systems requirements, integrated validation/verification activities, and issue resolution.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Escalate issues that need additional engineering or business leadership assistance in a timely manner.



Skills You Bring To this Role:聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Mechanical or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 At least 2 years of proven work experience in software design or data modeling.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Candidates must be eligible to obtain Secret Security Clearance.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to work on site in Bell's Fort Worth, TX headquarters location聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to communicate directly with senior leadership inside and outside the company.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Self-motivated and able to track and report performance to cost and schedule.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).聽聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience in developing experience managing or designing within Digital Engineering and MBSE

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with MBSE tools (eg EA Sparx, IBM Rhapsody, Magic Draw) and CM tools (eg SVN, Clearcase, git, Dimensions)

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working with Real Time Operation Systems (RTOS) or A-653 run time environments.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working in an embedded SIL or Avionics Lab environment.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working with ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, and or TSN is a plus

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with a database language like SQL, LINQ, or Json is a plus

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) is a plus
