The MV-75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) is聽the聽Premier聽Vertical Lift military program in the world.聽Bell's MV-75 FLRAA aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sunsetting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Army's assault capabilities.聽 The MV-75 program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army鈥檚 tactical advantage in聽future conflicts. The Bell MV-75 team聽seeks聽the top engineering talents from around the industry to design, develop, and deliver the world鈥檚 next-generation military aircraft.

Work location is Bell鈥檚 FRC facilities in Arlington, TX聽

Avionics Software Team

This Software Engineer is responsible for developing a set of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Software Applications related to the control of air vehicle components for the Avionics software on the FLRAA program.

What you鈥檒l be doing as a Software Engineer:

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Development of air vehicle IMA Software Applications

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Development of High level and Low Level Requirements

聽聽聽聽聽聽 SysML modeling of software design

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform Configuration Management for developed software



Skills You Bring To this Role:

聽聽聽聽聽聽 We are hiring at multiple levels of experience, with a minimum of 2+ years experience in developing聽embedded software, including hardware and software integration required. Aviation experience is preferred.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Requires C or C++ experience in a Linux development environment

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Requires familiarity with software DevOps processes.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Requires experience with Git version control system or change management systems.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to gain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated Communication Skills needed to brief management, customers, and/or large groups on an occasional basis.
