Due to Eagle Contracting's continued growth we are adding a Safety Manager
to our DFW team. The Safety Manager plays a critical role in fostering a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations. This position supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs designed to prevent workplace injuries and promote a safe working environment. The Safety Manager conducts site audits, leads safety meetings, investigates incidents, and collaborates with project teams to reinforce safe work practices. This role ensures alignment with company policies and federal, state, and local laws while driving continuous improvement in safety performance across all job sites.
Eagle Contracting has 9-10 projects in the $20-250 mil range going at all times in the great DFW area. On top of a competitive salary, we offer a vehicle allowance and gas card, annual bonuses, family benefits, and 401k.

Essential Job Functions:Â
- Conduct comprehensive site reviews and inspections to ensure adherence to OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform audits, review pre-task plans and permits, and ensure proper execution of safety programs on active job sites.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project managers and superintendents regarding safety-related concerns and documentation.
- Verify that all preliminary safety documentation is complete and submitted before project work begins.
- Lead and present safety meetings to reinforce safe practices and communicate updates to teams.
- Evaluate safety plans, certifications, and licenses submitted by trade partners for completeness and compliance.
- Ensure the onsite safety program remains current, effective, and aligned with industry standards and evolving regulations.
- Maintain accurate safety records and coordinate communications between clients and internal teams.
- Conduct and review incident and accident investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and sharing of lessons learned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health and safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Safety Manager
- Bilingual English/Spanish
