Job Description:
Estimating
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and military specifications
- Gather, evaluate, and analyze data (using current and historical data) to develop quotes for customers
- Negotiate pricing and terms of conditions with customers
- Manage and coordinate the work of data entry personnel
- Write and develop multi-year, multi-million dollar proposals for our customers
Contract Administration
- Monitor on-going contracts to assure conformance with the terms and conditions, on-time payment, and ensure completion of requirements
- Serve as primary customer interface for all contractual issues
- Ensure orders are processed quickly and accurately
- Ensure customer requests are acted upon quickly
- Act as a liaison between customers and production
- Travel and meet with customers to negotiate future and existing contracts
- Attend supplier conferences as InterConnect's representative
- Calculate and submit pricing for engineering changes
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Above average computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to create and maintain a positive work environment
- Ability to provide high quality customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to write large, detailed proposals
- Above average writing skills
- Above average math skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time (multi-task)
