This role plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the production and delivery of fabricated metal products.   Supervisory Responsibilities: None Internal Relationships: All Departments External Relationships: Regular contact with customers or prospective customers   Traits Displayed: Demonstrates high energy and solution-focused thinking, while maintaining keen attention to detail and a service-oriented mindset. Ensures consistent productivity and quality standards, delivering excellent customer service and building lasting partnerships. Primary Responsibilities:   Serve as the main point of contact with customers.   Manage customer transactions accurately and on time, including order and quote entry, and resolution of billing, shipping, quality, and change requests. Support customers and strengthen relationships. Advocate for customers while aligning with company priorities. Monitor job flow through our production software and communicate with team members and customers to ensure timely status updates and on-time delivery. Contribute to the achievement of department and/or company goals as requested. QualificationsMinimum Requirements:   2–5+ years in customer service, account management, or order processing Experience handling high-volume customer interactions (calls, email, or both) Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) Highly organized and excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, actively contributing to achieving company goals in sales, quality, and on-time delivery. Must be dependable. Preferred Requirements: 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
