Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring (a/an) Expert Welder at our Saginaw, TX plant.

What you'll do:

 

  • Uses jigs/holding fixtures to lay out pieces to be welded according to blueprints, layouts, schematics or work orders.
  • Uses manual/semi-automatic/automatic welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials.
  • Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and performs minor maintenance to equipment.
  • Works in a variety of complex duties and advanced tasks.
  • Adapts processes, tools, equipment and techniques to accomplish manufacturing goals.

 



What You'll Need:

  • Complete understanding of the job, company policies and processes.
  • Applies extensive technical or trades knowledge and skill to complete complex tasks.
  • Familiar with a broad variety of field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • May operate complex equipment and/or understand complex drawings and diagrams.
  • Independent judgment and resourcefulness are required.
  • Solves complex problems using advanced technical knowledge and creativity.
  • May serve as a problem-solving resource to others.
  • Typically has 4-6+ years related experience.
  • Performs as Level 3 Welder.
  • Acts as subject matter expert.
  • Coaches and trains lower level Welders.
