Duties & Responsibilities

· Conduct yourself in a manner that represents all of the MVCC core values.
· Assist with supervision of service staff including hiring, training, and performance management.
· Assist with Inventory control, reaching Sales goals, and maintaining Cost of Goods financial budget.
· Oversee the Opening & Closing duties in the department, including closing Daily Sales activity in Point-of-Sale computer.
· Write weekly labor schedule.
· Attend weekly team meetings to review upcoming events and execution details.
· Order supplies as needed.
· Maintain safety, order, and cleanliness throughout the facilities.
· Assist Food & Beverage Director with creation of new menu items and personalized event menus.
· Assist Food & Beverage event and culinary staff with individualized member and guest requests.
· Assist with Miscellaneous administrative tasks as requested.
Knowledge & Abilities
Qualifications (required unless stated otherwise):
· Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
· Professional, positive personality
· Strong organizational and time management skills – must adhere to deadlines, multi-task, and be able to prioritize
· Ability to work both independently, with minimal supervision, and in a team environment
· Ability to learn quickly and manage workload in a cooperative and demanding environment
· Ability to use Point of Sale F&B software program
· Ability to work comfortably with Microsoft Office programs
Requirements
Experience/Education:
· High school diploma and/or degree from community college
· 3 Years’ management experience in Private Country Club, Hotel, or high-end Food & Beverage restaurant
Licenses and Special Requirements:
· TABC Certification
· Food Safety Certification (City of Fort Worth Food Handler)
Work Environment, Physical Demands:
· Sitting: 2 hours

· Talking: 8 hours
· Lifting: 30 lbs
· Will be outdoors in fluctuating climates (both cold and hot)
· Employees will be required to stand for long periods in addition to walking, climbing stairs, balancing, bending, and reaching.
