Position Overview

As an Infrastructure Estimator - Coordinator, you will play a vital role in preparing accurate cost estimates and coordinating estimating activities across multiple projects. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project plans, specifications, and scope.
  • Coordinate estimating efforts with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the management of bidding processes including preparation and submission of proposals.
  • Analyze and interpret construction documents to identify material, labor, and equipment needs.
  • Maintain and update cost databases and historical cost information.
  • Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and verify pricing.
  • Ensure estimates comply with company standards and client requirements.
  • Support project scheduling and coordination activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating and coordination.
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of heavy highway and traffic control construction preferred.
