JOB SUMMARY: The Ingredient Control Receiving Technician leads daily ingredient receiving operations and reefer/freezer upkeep-maintenance at the Super Sport warehouse.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •         Promote a safe, positive, productive work environment. Reports safety concerns to Supervisor.
  •         Engage in continuous improvement of departmental processes. 
  •         Enforce procedures regarding Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure sanitary production & highest level of quality according to customer specifications. Maintain adherence to standards set forth by FSMA.
  •         Assume shared responsibility for all ingredients in all CBG locations. 
  •         Ensure adherence to First to Expire, First Out principle. 
  •         Responsible for the training of all Ingredient Control Receiving Technicians which includes assisting the Supervisor in assuring that all Techs (and self) have completed their required Alchemy training
  •         Schedules delivery appointments for all ingredient deliveries.
  •         Inspects all trailers upon receipt and fills out the trailer inspection log for each ingredient delivery.
  •         Verifies that each delivery matches what has physically delivered to what is listed on the BOL/Packing List.
  •         Verifies that a COA has been received for each ingredient that is delivered (each Lot# needs its own COA).
  •         Breaks down and separates mixed ingredients to separate pallets.
  •         Receives all ingredients in SAP against the internal PO, prints LP labels for each ingredient, and puts all ingredients into the proper storage lanes in inventory (LP transfer each LP as well).
  •         Scans all receiving paperwork to I/C Administrator.
  •         Obtains fuel and temperature readings from all reefers and the freezer and inputs this info into the I/C fuel log daily. Ensures that all reefers maintain a fuel level of greater than ¼ tank and is responsible to fuel the              reefers. Reports any reefer temps above 40 degrees to the Supervisor. Reports any freezer temp reading above 32 degrees to the Supervisor.
  •         Manages time appropriately to ensure that all tasks are completed by end of shift when possible.
  •         Performs accurate GIs & GRs of ingredients in Data Collections along with Pallet Consolidation when necessary.
  •         Ensures that all Dock Doors and Reefer Doors are closed and locked at end of shift. Other duties may be assigned.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE  

High School Diploma is required; Associate- Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred; 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work in wet, humid, or outdoor conditions.  The employee is also exposed to varying temperatures extremes including heat and cold as the weather varies.  The employee is occasionally exposed to work on elevated platforms, with fumes or airborne particles, or with toxic or caustic chemicals.  This employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
