We Are Looking ForÂ
The Inventory Lead is responsible for overseeing inventory control processes, ensuring optimal stock levels, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to maintain efficient supply chain operations. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and supplier coordination to meet operational and customer requirements effectively.Â
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess or obsolete inventory
- Monitor inventory performance metrics and adjust forecasting models to align with demand fluctuationsÂ
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams to ensure alignment of inventory levels with business needsÂ
- Analyze usage trends and lead-time data to improve inventory accuracy and replenishment processesÂ
- Communicate with suppliers to address inventory discrepancies, expedite critical materials, and resolve supply chain issuesÂ
- Oversee the disposition and control of non-conforming inventory to ensure compliance with quality standardsÂ
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, including certification reviews and traceability per company and regulatory requirementsÂ
- Lead cycle count programs and physical inventory audits to ensure data integrity and complianceÂ
- Â Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste within inventory operationsÂ
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audits related to inventory accuracy and complianceÂ
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Â
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or materials management, preferably in aerospace or manufacturingÂ
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management softwareÂ
- Knowledge of AS9120 and quality assurance processes preferredÂ
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to inventory optimizationÂ
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentÂ
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliersÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and experience with inventory management systemsÂ
- Strong leadership abilities with a proactive approach to process improvementÂ
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and complianceÂ
Special Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.Â
