Tokai Carbon CB, a world class manufacturer of high-quality carbon blacks, is seeking a Junior System Administrator for Endpoint & Collaboration Platforms to join our team. This role is responsible for administration, standardizing, and continuously improving the company’s end user computing environment – from workstations to information sharing. This role bridges traditional Helpdesk support and Systems Administration by owning endpoint platforms and automating service delivery as well as enabling M365 collaboration platforms.

End-User Platform reliability and Security

  • Administer endpoint standards and lifecycle management with a focus on automation to improve consistency.
  • Execute Patch Management, Software Automations and Workflow Scripting with reliability and security at the fore front.
  • Partner with team to ensure endpoint designs align with platform standards.

Service Desk Operations

  • Participate in first response IT support while driving continuous automation of operational processes.
  • Replace manual procedures with automations and AI-assisted workflows leveraging M365 and Power Platform capabilities.
  • Support a self-service-first automation implementation rather than manual administrative processes.

End-User Experience & Workflow Enablement

  • Serve as the primary IT advocate for end-users, ensuring technology enables productivity and collaboration
  • Administer and continually improve Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms, including SharePoint, Teams, and CoPilot workspaces.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to replace legacy workflows with modern collaboration tools within the M365 platform

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 3+ years IT experience supporting users and systems in a business environment.
  • Strong understanding of Endpoint imaging & provisioning, Patch management, Scripting and Software Automations
  • Experience supporting or administering collaboration platforms (messaging, document management, shared digital workspaces) in a business environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT ticketing systems and structured triage workflows (intake, categorization, prioritization, escalation, resolution, documentation)
  • Ability to create clear, accurate technical documentation for IT and business audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to standardize, improve, and automate processes, not just execute them.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience creating and working with Microsoft Power Platform and or Dataverse for workflow automation and optimization.
  • Experience configuring and working with MDM solutions
  • Experience administering Microsoft Collaboration Tools (Teams and SharePoint)
  • Experience working in environments transitioning from manual support to service-based delivery
  • Strong command of automation design and self-service enablement
