How you’ll contributeÂ
A Manager of Rehabilitation Therapy who excels in this role:
Â
- Performs appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observes/evaluates treatments and recommends changes to the physician as needed.
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develops teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involves families as appropriate and evaluates learning effectiveness.
- Assesses pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contacts the physician for appropriate intervention.
- Oversees scheduling of treatments and maintains departmental productivity standards.
- Ensures compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes. Â
- Supports quality improvement efforts, safety initiatives, and consistent application of rehabilitation standards and protocols.
- May assist with staff coaching, competency validation, and workflow optimization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for Â
Applicants should have current state licensure as a RPT and/or Speech Pathologist (SLP), or OTR certified by NBCOT. Additional requirements include:
- At least one year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine.
- Proficient clinical assessment and treatment planning; knowledge of rehab modalities; pain assessment/management coordination; effective teaching and family engagement; scheduling and productivity management; strong communication, teamwork, and documentation accuracy.
- CPR/BCLS Certification required
