NFC Specialist, Fort Worth

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the national fulfillment center (NFC), ensuring efficient and timely processing of orders.
• Manage and supervise the fulfillment team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high productivity and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems and processes.
• Maintain and analyze operational data and metrics (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement, and opportunities to streamline processes.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and logistics, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Develop and implement contingency plans for unexpected situations or disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on fulfillment center performance.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process optimization and cost-effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associates Degree in supply chain management or logistics desired
• 3 years of experience in a team leader role within a fulfillment center or distribution environment
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Expertise in inventory management systems and processes
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Working knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is primarily conducted in a distribution center or warehouse environment
• May require standing for extended periods and some physical labor
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental conditions typical of a distribution facility
