Summary:

The Room Service Associate plays a vital role in the patient experience by ensuring accurate and timely meal service. This position requires a blend of excellent customer service skills and strict adherence to healthcare protocols. The associate will be responsible for taking patient meal orders over the phone, verifying that selections align with a patient's dietary restrictions, and accurately inputting orders into a system. The essential functions include meal ordering and order management, meal delivery and patient interaction, issue resolution and communication, cleanliness and sanitation, administrative task and support.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• None required.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

• Must have current City of Fort Worth Food Handler’s Card at time of employment and maintain throughout employment 

Hours:

• 7:00am to 3:30pm or 12:00pm to 8:30pm (Shifts will vary according to department need.)
