We are currently looking for a Finishing Production Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities

Perform analysis to determine root cause.
Audit compliance with mix prevention rules, customer-specific rules, and standards.
Work directly with Customer Service Representatives and Shipping when necessary to fulfill customer requirements.
Understand production requirements and ensure level loading of each asset.
Audit job jackets and production timesheets for accuracy and compliance to quality plans.
Manage daily work requirements, ensuring jobs are completed in time to meet production delivery dates.
Manage production schedules, ensuring sufficient stock is available to keep assets running.
Establish Kanban systems for supply replenishment.
Create and regularly update standard work documentation.
Facilitate and execute process improvement activities.
Communicate opportunities for improvement to the leadership team.
Maintain regular email communication and management.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one situations.
Ability to read and understand job specifications.
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
Ability to take responsibility and ownership for personal performance while accepting challenging goals.
Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written and oral instructions.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to address problems involving a limited number of variables and understand when to involve supervision in the problem-solving process.
Ability to wear required PPE in production areas and follow all safety protocols.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and move throughout the production environment for extended periods.
Frequent walking required.
Ability to use hands to feel and touch, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work safely around moving machinery and production equipment.

Vision Requirements:

Vision correctable to 20/20 if required.
Ability to meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Internal Candidates:

Satisfactory attendance record required.
