Regional Financial Consultant – Skilled Nursing

Join our growing team! We are seeking an experienced Regional Financial Consultant to support Business Office Managers and leadership teams across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This role is responsible for improving revenue cycle performance, strengthening business office operations, supporting billing and collections, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and train Business Office Managers and business office staff.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, collections, Medicaid pending, and billing performance.
  • Conduct audits and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, hospice, and private pay billing.
  • Provide onsite support, coaching, and interim coverage when needed.
  • Partner with facility and corporate teams to resolve billing and reimbursement issues.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, resident trust regulations, and payer requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare business office experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, private pay billing, and accounts receivable management.
  • Experience as a Business Office Manager, Revenue Cycle Specialist, or similar role preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.
