  • Work hours:  Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Here’s What You Need

  • Associates Degree Related field (preferred)

  • Graduate of accredited ultrasound technology program (preferred)

  • RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Upon Hire (required) or

  • RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Upon Hire (required) and

  • 1 Year Related experience in a Vascular Laboratory (required)

  • Possess an excellent working knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary anatomy/pathology, the cardiac patient, and treatment of cardiac diseases

  • Have working knowledge of vascular arterial and venous anatomy for carotid and peripheral vasculature

  • Have excellent communication skills

  • Have good computer skills

  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism

What You Will Do

  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Registered Vascular Technician Process

  • Explains procedures to patient to obtain cooperation and reduce anxieties of patient.

  • Conducts vascular laboratory studies in accordance with the vascular laboratory protocols.

  • Produces two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of vascular structures, using ultrasound equipment by following ICAVL guidelines, for interpretation by physicians.

  • Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians.

  • Reviews test results with interpreting physician.

  • Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while in the clinic.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
