About the Role
This is a senior-level opportunity to own and grow a high-volume Chapter 7 consumer bankruptcy practice within a fully remote law firm. You'll serve as the senior legal voice for the practice, working alongside an experienced paralegal team — with all marketing, lead generation, and client acquisition handled for you so you can focus on the law.
What You'll Do
Lead the consumer bankruptcy practice end to end, from intake through discharge across 90–120 day case cycles.
Manage a high-volume Chapter 7 caseload with multiple simultaneous filings at any given time.
Collaborate closely with a senior paralegal team to maintain case throughput and quality standards.
Help hire, vet, and mentor junior attorneys as the practice scales.
Serve as the senior legal authority on complex or contested consumer bankruptcy matters.
What We're Looking For
10+ years of dedicated consumer bankruptcy experience with a strong Chapter 7 focus (consumer debtor side, not creditor-side or corporate/Chapter 11).
Active Texas bar license in good standing — required.
Demonstrated expertise managing high-volume consumer bankruptcy caseloads with accuracy and efficiency.
JD from an accredited law school.
Proficiency with legal case management software and remote collaboration tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with clients experiencing financial distress.
Leadership or practice management experience, including supervising junior attorneys or overseeing a practice group, is a strong plus.
Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy experience is a plus.
No visa sponsorship available — must be authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $120,000 – $250,000 USD annually.
Location
Fully remote (United States). Primary base: Fort Worth, TX.
